Editing your app
Every project keeps its chat and its source code. To change the app, send another message in the same project.
How follow-ups work
A follow-up edits the existing code instead of starting over, so things you did not mention stay as they were. Each follow-up creates a new build, and the download button updates when it is ready.
Good follow-ups are small and specific:
- "Make the number turn red when it is negative."
- "Add a Reset button that sets the count to 0."
- "Use a larger font for the total."
While a build is running
You cannot send another message until the current build finishes. The message box is disabled and shows "Build in progress…".
If a build fails
The chat shows the compiler error. Send a message such as "fix the build error" or describe the change you actually want. The AI sees the previous conversation and the code.
Starting fresh
To start a different app, create a new project. Projects are listed on the home page and in the desktop app's sidebar.
