Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 4, 2026

This policy explains what silicondevkit.com collects, why, and who handles it.

What we collect

  • Account data. Name, email address and a hashed password. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, profile picture URL and Google account identifier from Google. We never see your Google password.
  • Content you give us. Your prompts and follow-up messages, and the chat replies, source code and compiled apps generated for you.
  • Usage data. For each build: its status, timings, the size of the result, AI token counts and cost. For security and abuse control we also record the IP address and browser user agent of build requests and of your sign-in sessions.
  • Cookies. A session cookie that keeps you signed in, and a cookie or local storage entry that remembers your light or dark theme. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.

How we use it

To run the Service (create your account, build your app, let you download it), to keep it secure and prevent abuse, to understand costs and usage, and to contact you about your account. We do not sell your data and we do not use your prompts or apps to advertise to you.

Who handles it

We use these providers to run the Service. They process data on our behalf:

  • Vercel hosts the website and stores generated app files (Vercel Blob).
  • Neon hosts the database (accounts, projects, messages, usage records).
  • Anthropic (Claude) receives your prompts and the project's source code so it can write and fix the app. Anthropic's own terms and privacy policy apply to what it receives.
  • Google provides sign-in, if you choose it.

Builds are compiled on a Mac that we operate. We may disclose information if the law requires it.

Retention and deletion

We keep your account, projects and generated apps until you ask us to delete them or we delete your account. Deleting an account removes your profile, sessions, projects, messages and build records from our database. Generated app files may remain in storage for a short time after deletion before they are removed. Backups kept by our providers expire on their own schedule.

To access, correct or delete your data, email hello@silicondevkit.com.

Security

Passwords are stored hashed. Traffic uses HTTPS. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Do not put secrets, passwords or personal data into prompts.

Children

The Service is not for children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the date above.
