Terms of Service

Last updated: October 4, 2026

These terms govern your use of silicondevkit.com (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

What the Service does

You describe a Mac app in plain language. The Service uses an AI model to write the source code, compiles it, and gives you a downloadable macOS app. Free accounts can build a small set of pre-made sample apps. Paid accounts can describe any app.

Your account

You must provide accurate information and keep your password secret. You are responsible for what happens under your account. You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live. Sign-ups may be limited, and we may refuse or close any account.

Your content and the apps you generate

You own the prompts you write. Subject to these terms and to the rights of any third parties, you may use the apps generated for you for any lawful purpose, including commercial use. Apps are generated by an AI model, so we cannot promise that they are original, or that they do not resemble existing software. You are responsible for checking an app before you distribute it.

By submitting a prompt you let us process it, and store it with the generated source code and app, so that we can run the Service for you.

Rules

Do not use the Service to:

  • build malware, spyware, credential stealers, or anything intended to harm, deceive or surveil people without their consent;
  • infringe someone else's rights, or build an app that copies another product's name, branding or protected code;
  • break the law, or attempt to get around limits, access controls or other users' accounts;
  • overload or probe the Service, or try to run commands on our systems through your prompts.

We may remove content, limit use, or close accounts that break these rules.

Apps are not signed or notarized by us

Apps are ad-hoc signed. They are not signed with an Apple Developer ID and are not notarized. macOS will warn you the first time you open one, and you may need to approve it in System Settings. Review the documentation before you run or share an app. You run generated apps at your own risk.

Plans and payment

The Service has a free plan and a paid plan. Plan changes, limits and pricing may change. We will not charge you without telling you the price first. The free plan may be changed or ended at any time.

Availability

The Service is provided as is and as available. Builds can fail, take a long time, or produce apps that do not work as described. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service.

No warranty and limit of liability

To the maximum extent the law allows, we provide the Service and generated apps without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, loss of data, loss of profits, or damage caused by running a generated app. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or US$100 if you paid nothing. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

Ending your account

You can stop using the Service at any time and ask us to delete your account (see the Privacy Policy). We can suspend or end your access at any time, for example if you break these terms.

Changes

We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the date above. If you keep using the Service after a change, you accept the new terms.
