Agent Swarm

Send one task to Claude, Gemini and Hermes at once.

Download for Mac (.zip)Free · macOS 13 or later

Agent Swarm finds the AI command-line tools already installed on your Mac and lets you give them the same task at the same time. Each tool answers in its own column, so you can compare replies side by side.

What it does

  • Detects your tools. It looks for claude (Claude Code), gemini (Gemini CLI) and hermes (Hermes Agent) in the usual install folders, and asks a login shell too, because apps opened from Finder don't inherit your terminal's PATH. Each tool gets a status dot.
  • Runs them together. Type a task and send it. The app runs claude -p, gemini -p and hermes chat -q with your task and streams each reply into its own column.
  • Uses your own logins. It runs the tools as you, so it needs no API keys. Whatever each tool is already signed in to is what it uses.
  • Handles missing tools. A tool that isn't installed shows a "not installed" message instead of failing.
  • Stop and copy. A Stop button ends all running agents, and each column has a Copy button.

Requirements

You need at least one of the command-line tools installed and signed in. Each one runs on your account, so its usage counts against your own plan.

Notes

This sample was generated by silicondevkit.com and has not been tested with all three tools installed together. The commands come from each tool's documentation.

The prompt behind it

This app was generated from the prompt below. Paste it into silicondevkit.com to build your own version, then change it however you like.

Build a macOS app called Agent Swarm. It detects which AI command-line tools are installed on this Mac: claude, gemini and hermes. Check common install folders (/opt/homebrew/bin, /usr/local/bin, ~/.local/bin, ~/.npm-global/bin, ~/.hermes/bin) and also ask a login shell (zsh -lc 'command -v <tool>'), because apps opened from Finder do not inherit the shell PATH. Show each tool with a green or grey status dot. The user types one task; the app sends it to every detected tool at the same time, non-interactively with these commands: claude -p "<task>", gemini -p "<task>", hermes chat -q "<task>". Run them with Process using the login shell so each tool's own login is used, and stream each tool's output into its own side-by-side column. Show a clear 'not installed' message for missing tools, a Stop button, and a Copy button per column. Do not ask for API keys.

Opening it for the first time

This app is signed ad hoc and is not notarized, so macOS may block the first launch. Open System Settings → Privacy & Security and click Open Anyway. See Signing and first launch.
